Gordo's Diner is an award winning 50's and 60's style diner in Vaughan. Originally opened in 2007 as a Wimpy's Diner we've been in the area for many years and have become a staple in the community known for our original specials, fantastic service and legendary soups! Everything from the burgers to the coleslaw has been handmade and created by restaurant veteran, Gord Purdy.
Gord has lived in Woodbridge for over 20 years and has worked in the restaurant industry even longer. Gord's first restaurant "Golden Glory" was one of the few independent pizza parlours to have success in Woodbridge because of the high quality in both food and service. Gord worked at many restaurants down town throughout the years and was restaurant manager for Ruth's Chris Streak House for many years.
Gordo's Diner is a three time gold medal winning in the "Best of Vaughan" awards put on annually by the city of Vaughan and Vaughan Today. We are currently voted "Best Family Restaurant" in Vaughan 2011, "Best Burger" in Vaughan 2012, as well as "Best Breakfast" in Vaughan 2012.
We strive for excellence with everything we do and we plan to continue our award winning service and food for many many years to come.
